The Town of Tecumseh issues Penalty Notices (parking and by-law "tickets") for various infractions under the Administrative Monetary Penalty System ("AMPS").

If you have received a Screening Review Decision regarding your Penalty Notice/ticket, you may request, by completing Hearing Officer.

This form must be submitted, BY the person to which the penalty applies, within 30 days of the "Screening Review Decision Date". If you require more time and believe you have a valid reason, please exit this form and proceed to complete and submit the "Request Extension of Time to Request a Hearing Review" form. The Hearing Officer will review your reason(s) and determine whether to grant an extension. The maximum days extension that may be granted is an additional 15 days for a total of up to no more than 45 days from the Screening Review Decision Date.

This Request for a Hearing Review must be filed within 30 days of the Screening Review Decision Date. Requests received on the 31st day or later, will not be considered and the following provisions apply:

You shall be deemed to have waived the right to request a Hearing Review or Request Extension of Time to Request a Hearing Review;
The Screening Review Decision shall be deemed to be confirmed;
The Screening Review Decision shall not be subject to any further review, including a review by any Court.

Please be sure that all information, including your contact information, is accurate and complete.

Important Note(s): New evidence may not be submitted and cannot be considered for a Hearing Review. All the particulars upon which the Hearing Officer will render a decision are those which were previously considered by the Screening Officer.
