Request Extension of Time to Request a Hearing Review

The Town of Tecumseh issues Penalty Notices (parking and by-law "tickets") for various infractions under the Administrative Monetary Penalty System ("AMPS").

If you have received a Screening Review Decision regarding your Penalty Notice/ticket, you may request, by completing and submitting this form, an extension of the timeframe to request a review of the decision by a Hearing Officer.

This form must be submitted, BY the person to which the penalty applies, within 30 days of the "Screening Review Decision Date". The Hearing Officer will review your reason(s) and determine whether to grant an extension. The maximum days extension that may be granted is an additional 15 day for a total of up to 45 days from the Screening Review Decision Date.

This Request Extension of Time to Request a Hearing Review must be filed within 30 days of the Screening Review Decision Date. Requests for extension received on the 31st day or later, will not be considered and the following provisions apply:
